Assume you drive 15000 miles per year, change your oil every 4000 miles, and pay $1.50 qt for oil and 3.50 for an oil filter. Each change cost you $11.00 times 4 = $44.00 for the year. Assume you get 18 MPG which means you use 833 gallons of fuel per year. At $1.539 a gallon it cost you $1358.93 for fuel for the year.
The total cost to use your car with your current lubricants is $1402.93
